Insuring your jewelry is easy

Include all original packaging and collateral material. If your item was delivered with a GIA diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $250 replacement cost. This is not the appraisal but the certificate for the diamond center stone only. For security reasons, do not write Eye For Gems anywhere on the outside of the box. We will provide the address for the return.

• Visit Jewelers Mutual’s Web site at www.InsureYourJewelry.com for a free quote or to apply online. You also can mail a completed and signed application to Jewelers Mutual with your payment.
• Eye for Gems provides you with an insurance evaluation/appraisal that includes a detailed description of each item and the retail replacement value. The cost of insurance is based on the jewelry’s retail replacement value and the state and county you live in.
• Mail, fax, or e-mail Jewelers Mutual a copy of the Eye for Gems insurance evaluation/appraisal. Coverage will begin on the date you submit your online application or on the postmark date stamped on the envelope if you mail your application. If the total appraisal value of all items is $50,000 or more, or if you were previously denied or canceled by Jewelers Mutual, you must call them for prior approval for insurance.
